Requirements for Sustainable Products

• Cyclic:  The product is made from organic materials – recycled or compostable – or is made from minerals which constantly recycle in a close cycle.
• Solar:  The product uses solar energy or other forms of renewable energy with the characteristic that it is cyclical and safe, both in its use and its fabrication.
• Safe: The product is not toxic in its use and disposal, and its fabrication does not involve toxic emissions, nor does it affect the ecosystem.
• Efficient: The efficiency in the fabrication and its use is improved by a 10 factor.
• Social: The product and its components and the raw materials are made under just conditions for involved workers and the local communities.
